This weekend is projected to be one of the coldest we’ve seen this semester. It may be tempting to stay inside and snuggle under a warm blanket. However, if that’s not the plan this weekend, then here are a few things to do in and around Baltimore this weekend.
Maryland Irish Festival
Nov 10-12th at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD (Hours Vary)
Tickets: $15 for adults (18-64) on Friday and Sunday, $20 on Saturday
Enjoy everything from music, dancing, cultural exhibits, presentations, and more while celebrating your Irish heritage (or not, all are welcome). Did we mention $5 beers during Friday Happy Hour from 6-8pm?

Baltimore Food Truck Week at Patterson Park in Baltimore City

Goucher students and food trucks go together like… Jose Bowen and his dogs! Come to Patterson Park on Friday night to be apart of the first annual Baltimore Food Truck Week. Featured restaurants include Crossroads Bistro (fusion cuisine), Deddle’s Mini Donuts, and El Gringo Baltimore (tacos). Twenty food trucks will be featured in Patterson Park, so check out the Baltimore Food Truck Week Facebook page for more details on all featured trucks.

Bacon Jam at Power Plant Live! Inner Harbor
Nov 11th 1pm-5pm
Tickets: $10 (additional food and drink packages available)
Bacon lovers will surely regret missing this. Try some Maple Bacon French Toast, Pork Hawaiian Meatballs or even a Bacon & Bourbon Chocolate Cupcake at this event for all ages. You can even witness a Cocktail Competition where local bartenders will square off to see who can make the best bacon cocktail. A portion of the ticket sales will go to the local non-profit Volunteering Untapped.
